The issue with screen recording not picking up game or mic audio on your new iPad Pro (M5) is often related to privacy settings or specific app restrictions.

First, ensure that the game (Codm) has permission to access the microphone. Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Microphone and verify that the toggle for the game is turned on. Even if you turn the mic on in the Screen Record controller, the iPad won't record audio if the app itself is restricted.

Also, check if you have any "Focus" modes or "Do Not Disturb" active, as these can sometimes suppress system sounds during recording. Another common fix is to long-press the Screen Record button in the Control Center and ensure that "Microphone" is highlighted in red before you start the recording. If the game uses a separate voice chat engine, try starting the screen recording first before joining the lobby or turning on in-game voice chat, as the iPad's audio engine can sometimes only handle one active "listener" at a time.
