CDs imported to iPhone 11 on Windows 11 show as audiobooks

I want to import songs from CDs to my iPhone 11 that is using the latest iOS version. I am using a windows 11 pc with the new iTunes app that has only podcast and audio books as selection types. I also have the Apple Music app and Device app installed. When I use the iTunes app to import they show up as audiobooks and seem to play ok as audiobooks but don’t show up in my music library.

I’ve tried importing via the music app but can’t find the CD icon to import with. What am I missing here?
