iMovie error processing MP4 videos with error 10008

I have mp4 videos from a trail cam. iMovie processes several of them into a mp4 movie just fine. EXCEPT today, I get this error message on a group of 4 videos I want to make a movie out of: Error message reads:

I've tried taking large sections of the videos out, but to no avail. I get the same error message

MacBook Pro 14″, macOS 26.5

Hi,

Error 10008 is a rendering error. There's usually a corrupt frame or clip in

the project that causes the error. The way to find it is to skim through the

project slowly and carefully around the time point in which the error occurs,

watching for any flashes or flickers that indicate corruption. If you find one,

cut it out of the project and see if it will render.

You can also try restarting your computer and opening iMovie while holding

down the Option and Command keys, and deleting preferences in the box that

appears.

Finally, try creating a new project and see if you can import into it.
