Educational Discount programmes from Apple, where available, typically require that eligible students are enrolled in a recognised higher education programme within the country of purchase. In most countries, the key to accessing Apple’s Educational Discount programme is being registered with UNiDAYS.

Apple's Educational discounts are also available to any employee of a public or private school in the UK. Demonstrable proof of entitlement will be required - this usually being a School Staff Identity card, or pay-slip that clearly shows the name of the Educational establishment. If as a retiree you have appropriate proof of entitlement, you may still be eligible.
