Apple Intelligence learning ruins battery life

This isn't a question, but the relevant threads are closed. To everyone reporting poor battery life after a few hours of moderate usage, the problem is Apple Intelligence. I was using Pages—Pages!—and nothing else, and my battery dropped 40% in 2 hours. I disabled the option to "Learn from this application" and power usage returned to what it should be. It's not enough to disable Apple Intelligence—you also need to disable "learning" for every individual app. The toggles are found in System Settings > Apple Intelligence & Siri > Siri Suggenstions & Privacy
