- Force Restart: Close the Messages app via the App Switcher or perform a force restart to clear temporary cache and reload data.
- Toggle iMessage: Go to Settings > Messages and turn iMessage, SMS, and MMS off, wait 30 seconds, then turn them back on to re-establish server connections.
- Check Storage: If free space is less than 1GB, iOS may stop downloading images; delete unused apps or videos to free up space.
