Caps Lock Not Working on MacBook Pro M5 After Login

My caps lock doesnt work on Macbook Pro M5

For a while now I've been dealing with this issue of whenever I press the capslock button, nothing happens (no light, no caps). It's only in the login menu where I can click the capslock button and it lights up. However, after logging in, it doesnt work again. I've tried to make sure modifier keys are default, slow keys turned off, and every other trick on the internet yet it still doesnt work.

Appreciate your help

you can try from the Terminal.app

Enable caps lock indicator copy & paste:

sudo defaults write /Library/Preferences/FeatureFlags/Domain/UIKit.plist redesigned_text_cursor -dict-add Enabled -bool YES

(please note your psswd will not echo on screen type it in anyway, use the enter\return key to proceed.)
