My new iPhone 17 lagging
My iPhone 17 seems to have too many lags for a new phone. How can I check if everything is ok?

If you are experiencing this lag with internet connections and you have a VPN installed, then remove it.
If you haven't already performed a Force Restart, do that now:
- Press and quickly release Volume Up
- Press and quickly release Volume Down
- Press and HOLD Side button until the Apple logo appears. This could take up to 15 seconds while holding the side button before you see the Apple logo and you have to ignore anything else on the screen, including the prompt to Slide to Power Off. If you don't see the Apple Logo, then try again as it may take a couple of attempts to get the speed and sequence of the key presses correct.
If you just received a Software Update, you should give it about 4 days to complete that set up by indexing the files in the background and optimizing Object Detection algorithms for the photos in your Photo Library.
