iPhone stuck on iCloud restore "estimating" screen

took my i phone to the apple store today but brought it home to restore from iCloud--now it is stuck on the Restore from iCloud screen "Time remaining:estimating"--it has been like this for the last hour

iPhone 14 Pro, iOS 26

Hopefully you’re using strong Wi-Fi with no VPN and no anti-virus on a well charged iPhone.

If you are, force restart the iPhone as follows:

Press and quickly release the volume up button.
Press and quickly release the volume down button.
Press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo (this might take longer than 10 seconds).
