Why am I being charged new prices for a pre-paid Mac Studio?

What country do you live in and who is this supplier...?

If you had ordered it directly from Apple before the price increase, then you should not be required to pay more.

If you ordered it thru a third party supplier, then your at their mercy for any ordering delays and price increases.

Then Apple is not billing you at all, so you will have to take that up with the Supplier you are dealing with. If you are able to get a refund for the difference in the price, it would come from OPA Solutions and not Apple. Why they waited so long to order your Mac when you pre-paid on May 29th is something you would need to address with them to honor your contract price.

Depends on who your supplier is. Sounds like you did not order from Apple where you would have received the Mac already and had paid for the lower cost. If a "supplier" took your money for a later delivery date, then you would need to talk to them about it.

There is nothing that anyone here in the Apple "user to user" forum can do to help.

Plus because OPA Solutions is third-party seller, there is not much that Apple can do to help.

At this point, it seems like your only options are:

1) pay OPA Solutions the difference, regardless of when you ordered.

2) cancel the order and work with your credit card company to get the money back.
