Quit syncing the email account where those spam invites are originating. I suspect you are syncing either a Gmail or Microsoft account and the spam that originated there is syncing to your Calendar app.

Not sure what device you are using, but you can go into your Calendar Settings and there you will find the Accounts option where you can disable syncing the Calendar events from that account.
