Cursor and trackpad freezing on Macbook Air, M3, 2024

Cursor and trackpad freezing or becoming nonresponsive on Macbook Air, m3, 2024. Took it to Apple store and no issues with the computer or the trackpad. Worked great and much quicker in the store. Problem resumed once home. I have unplug other wifi devices in the house, restarted the modem/router, did the latest update. Still have the lags and freezes. Any ideas please?
