Hi,

The issue is likely caused by iOS Focus modes or Bluetooth connectivity rather than an actual iPod alarm, as iPods do not have independent alarm systems that can trigger an iPhone.

  • Check Focus Modes: If Sleep Focus or Do Not Disturb was active, it may have triggered a "Wake Up" alarm linked to your Health app sleep schedule, which appears as a generic alarm notification.
  • Bluetooth Interference: Your iPhone may have connected to a Bluetooth device (like AirPods or a car stereo) that was misidentified or previously paired with an iPod, causing the alarm to play silently or through the wrong device.
  • Verify Alarm Settings: Open the Clock app, go to Alarms, and ensure no sound is set to None. If alarms are set but silent, disable Attention Aware Features in Settings > Face ID & Attention, as this can lower or mute alarms if the phone detects you are looking at it.
  • Reset Settings (last resort): If the problem persists, go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset All Settings to clear any corrupt preferences without deleting your data.
