Apple support coverage billing and new MacBook display

I recently bought a new MacBook and in the process I updated my apple support monthly coverage where it will cover 3 items for one price (which got automatically charged to my credit card while in the store.) She cancelled the subscription I was paying for (it is automatically charged on the 12th of each month). Will I get a credit back for the partial month I've paid for from now to July 12 before the next charge and be charged on the 1st of each month now the new amount?

Also, it doesn't show my new laptop on my devices on the support page on apple...is that because I haven't opened it up and set it up yet?

Thank you in advance.

I did something similar -- I have 3 devices and when my AppleCare+ for one of them was close to expiring, Apple sent me an email offering to combine all 3 into a single AppleCare One policy, saving considerable cost for the premiums. I accepted and after a few mouse clicks, I received several receipts, basically indicating that my previous AppleCare+ policies had been cancelled and the new AppleCare One policy had been created. This resulted in a credit (for the previous policies which I had already prepaid the annual premium for) which showed right away on the credit card I had been using for those payments.

All three of my devices show the new AppleCare One coverage now.

I think once you have set up the new laptop it should register with your new policy. If not, you would then want to contact Apple Support to clear that up.
