It doesn't look like either of these are a possibility. TM Preferences only give me: the choice of storage device to use for the TM back-up ("Select Disc"), OR which discs to not be backed up ("Options"). For Select Disc, Po'Sport is already chosen but appears a 2d time as a possible additional disc for TM use. For Options, Po'Sport is the only offered to deselect from back-ups.

Starting again fresh would seem to be only option available. The downside would be that the laptop's back-up (which is working properly) would also be trash .
