Missing Smart zoom option on the Car Play after last update
I would like to report that the Smart Display Zoom option is missing in CarPlay after the latest iOS update.
This feature used to be available, and it made CarPlay look much better on my car’s 12-inch display. After the latest update, Apple removed this option, and now there is no way to adjust the interface size.
Without Smart Display Zoom, CarPlay looks ridiculous on a large screen. The app icons are almost the size of a hand, which is both comical and a waste of valuable screen space. On android auto 12-inch display deserves an interface that makes proper use of the available area.
I also have a question: why does Android Auto look so much better on the same display? Android Auto automatically scales its interface to the screen size, while CarPlay forces oversized icons that make the interface look outdated and inefficient.
Please bring back the Smart Display Zoom option. Users should be able to choose the interface size that best fits their vehicle. Removing this feature has made the CarPlay experience significantly worse.
Thank you for your attention. I hope this issue will be addressed in a future iOS update.
