How can locked notes be deleted without unlocking them?
Long story short I forgot my notes password so I cannot unlock them, trying to delete the notes that I no longer have access to also requires the notes to be unlocked. I have tried to delete the notes both from the notes app and from icloud.com on my laptop.
As tested on my iPhone, I could not either delete the note without the note password. I haven't tested on iCloud.com but I take your word for it.
On a Mac, though, when prompted to enter the note password, a "Forgot password" link was available. Clicking it prompted me to enter my Apple Account password. Entering it was enough to override the note password and delete the note.

I do not have a Mac so for the foreseeable future I’ll just set them aside in another folder. Thank you for the help, hopefully the phone will eventually also be able to do so.
