AirPods Pro 2 static sound with MacBook M1/M2

My AirPod Pro 2 intermittently gets a static sound (probably every 5-10 seconds, like a soft to moderate rumbling/crackling sound) when playing videos from my MacBook M2 or my friends' Macbook M1s, running MacOS 27 Tahoe and MacOS 15 Sequoia. I do not get this with my current iPhone 13 running iOS 17.6.1 or my previous MacBook Pro 2017 running MacOS 13 Ventura. I looked up some other community notes about ensuring all other Bluetooth is off, ensuring there is a clear signal to my device, and ensuring my AirPods are correctly connected with my Mac.

Given it only occurs with the newer MacBooks, I suspect this is an issue with either the newer MacBooks or macOS, or possibly the way this model of AirPod Pro 2 interacts with the newer updates/MacBooks (although still works well on my iPhone 13 as mentioned).

Any solutions or ideas?
