Saving or Copying Channel Strip Settings do not do the same thing, as expected

Saving Channel Strip Settings is not saving Sends. Yet, Copy Channel Strip Settings and Paste into another track and the Sends are included. At the very least, this seems like inconsistent behavior. IMO, Saving and Copying Channel Strip Settings should do the same thing, only one is temporary in memory and the other saved to disk.

Any comments before I report this in Logic Pro Feedback?

This is how it's been for years.

There's a workaround;

  1. Create a track for each aux channel send that you're using with that channel.
  2. Select the original track and all the Aux tracks used on that track.
  3. Create a summing track stack.
  4. Then, save the track stack as a patch.
