AirPods 4: Charging Sounds Button Greyed Out

If the option to turn off the sounds of the charging case is grayed out, it is because your AirPods 4 are not detected as being actively connected to your iPhone, or that they are stored in their closed case. To unlock the button, simply put the AirPods to your ears, go to Settings > Name of your AirPods, then scroll down, the Activate sounds option of the charging case will now be accessible to be deactivated.
