iPad Pro Black Screen Issue

How do I fix a 5th Gen, iPad Pro black screen and/or touch screen? The screen comes on briefly whenever I receive a telephone call but does not stay on. I've tried doing a hard restart and do not get the Apple.

Thank you for your post.

There appears to be a problem with the internal display panel. Only a certified Apple technician can determine the cause and offer a complete solution.

Therefore, I recommend service.

So just as mysteriously it happened, it mysteriously came back on. I did run my battery down and did not begin recharging with the iPad charger, so it took quite a while to reach 96%. I finally started using the charger after it reached 96%, then went through the normal shutdown and startup procedures. I finally saw the Apple icon and the iPad started working again.
