No issues on multiple devices here. And you may be the first person I've seen post such an issue.
Have you performed a Force Restart ? Try this --> Force restart iPhone - Apple Support
I'm wondering if you have Slide to Type enabled on your iPhone? Open Settings > General > Keyboard > Slide to Type and turn the switch off. Test to see if that was the issue.
