What app(s) are you trying to put into landscape orientation? Not all apps are coded to do that.

The Control Center "Orientation Lock" is the only setting that comes to mind. Sorry,

Usually it's browser apps, Apple TV, and other apps that I know support landscape mode. I've used them in landscape before, but I think I accidentally turned something on in the settings because they don't rotate anymore.
