Apple Studio Display (Standard Glass) 2022 model image retention problem

My 2022 Apple Studio Display (Standard Glass) has an image retention problem on the bottom long edge of the screen. Has anyone else experienced this problem? When I contacted Apple Turkey, they offered a direct panel replacement solution, which costs half the price of a new screen. This seems ridiculous. Is an image retention error normal in a 4-year-old device? I'm about to go crazy.
