Pinch to Zoom in iPhone Mirroring app, with a Mouse?

Is there a way to pinch to zoom in on something in iPhone Mirroring app on a Mac, with a mouse?

Whenever I google, it seems like every answer is telling you to pinch and zoom on your trackpad. But I'm on a Mac mini with a mighty mouse, not trackpad. And I can't see any way to pinch and zoom in. And I really need to be able to do that to see the objects I'm trying to look at.

Is there a way?

Interesting! I have a MacBook, and I don't use a mouse at all, so I'm not sure. But do you have a scroll wheel? If so may be able to use System Settings>Accessibility>Zoom

to set "Use scroll gesture with modifier keys to zoom." The next line lets you choose control or command or option with the scroll wheel to zoom.

This may only be a Mac display zoom-- but maybe it's worth a try…

Is it correct that this is a 20 year old Mouse? No wheel?

I'd tell Apple that this is a problem. Maybe they don't know? There is no specific Mighty Mouse page, but you could go to the Magic Mouse Feedback site--it also does not have a wheel, so this might work:

Feedback - Magic Mouse - Apple

And/or you could go to the Mac Mini Feedback site:

Feedback - Mac mini - Apple

I'd be tempted to go to Apple Support with your question:

Connect with live support

They're very friendly and helpful, but it may take a while to get through on a phone call.

Maybe they'll throw something in for the next OS…
