1. Connect your iPhone to a Mac (Finder) or PC (iTunes/Apple Devices app)

2. Enter Recovery Mode:

- Quickly press and release Volume Up

- Quickly press and release Volume Down

- Press and hold the Side button until the recovery mode screen appears (cable + laptop icon)

3. In Finder or iTunes, click Restore iPhone

4. This erases the device and installs the latest iOS

5. After restore, set up as new or restore from an iCloud/iTunes backup

Option 2 — iCloud Remote Erase (if Find My was enabled):

1. Sign in to icloud.com on another device

2. Go to Find My > All Devices

3. Select your iPhone

4. Click Erase iPhone

5. This remotely wipes the device

6. Set it up again from backup
