Has Photomator been sidelined?

It seems to be fine right now. I've just started using it and it's pretty good. There's a few things that Lightroom has over it and a few things it has over Lightroom and some things that are a matter of taste. For example, Lightroom can remove haze, which is really useful for taking the 70 mile deep photos I take hiking mountains in New Mexico. Photomator's interface is organized according to a logical editing flow -- the things you ought to do first are at the top of the interface and the obscure things at the bottom. You have to export Lightroom photos to have them show up in Photos but Photomator uses Photo's storage system for all editing -- your photos always go into Photos.

With all that utility, its currency, and its low price point, I sort of doubt that Apple is ready to sideline it.

No one here knows what plans Apple has for the future of its products, and rumors and speculation are forbidden on this forum. I use Photomator's tools for jpgs, but I use Lightroom for RAW files. I'll keep paying for Photomator as long as it adds to what I need. I'm guessing that it won't go away until its tools are incorporated into other apps.
