iPhone 14 Plus voice-to-text doesn't work with Bluetooth in my car

When you say voice-to-text doesn’t work, do you mean keyboard Dictation on the iPhone, asking Siri to compose a message, or using the car’s own voice controls? Those can use different parts of the connection, so that distinction would help narrow down what’s failing.

Does voice-to-text work normally when the iPhone is disconnected from the car’s Bluetooth? And while connected to the car, can Siri hear you normally and do phone calls through the car microphone work properly?

Lastly, what year, make and model is the car, and are you using CarPlay or only a standard Bluetooth connection? It would also help to know the exact iOS 26 version/build shown under Settings > General > About.
