Find My disabled on iPhone after Lost Mode activation

You also likely responded to a message asking you to confirm you account credentials in one of the messages, right? When you did that, you gave the thief exactly what they needed to remove the device from your account and erase it to sell it or use it themselves. Apple doesn't send messages about lost or stolen devices. Thieves do, however.

There is nothing you can do at this point. You need to contact your carrier and ask them to Blacklist the phone so it can't be used on any network. But you'll never see the phone again. There is no way to track the phone once Find My has been disabled.

Then whoever has your phone either knew or was able to guess your credentials. But once Find My has been disabled, it's a hopeless cause.
