Logitech combo touch keyboard case does not allow me to connect a charging cable or an external drive with the keyboard case on! Any suggestions?

Are you using genuine Apple cables to connect to your iPad's USB-C port, or some other third-party cable?

While Logitech products are generally well designed - and will accommodate most standard-sized USB-C connector bodies, some third-party USB-C cables have oversize plug bodies. Similarly, some accessories that have a built-in USB-C plug may not have sufficient clearance to fully penetrate the case's connector opening.

If Apple charging cables do not properly fit, you'll need to seek guidance from Logitech Support.

As advised within my initial reply, if you are experiencing difficulties with properly sized (Certified) USB-C cables, you should seek assistance from Logitech Support - as your Logitech case may be defective.

Attempting to modify the Logitech case to accommodate the USB-C connector is inadvisable. Cutting or modifying the case in any way will void any associated warranty. With the warranty intact, the possibility of redress - either by the retailer from which the case was purchased, or by Logitech - remains possible.

Seriously?

You drop that "warranted" iPad case one time and it will get a scuff which is no worse than slightly enlarging a port opening that is probably too small to begin with. Cases are meant to get banged, scuffed and damaged in use.

This is an iPad case, not an iPad.

Personally, the last thing I'd be worrying about is voiding the "warranty" of my iPad case.
