Passwords App always locks itself. Please help me change this setting...

Hi, all -- the Passwords app is driving me nuts by constantly locking itself, forcing me to enter my user password. Every single time I use it.

I'm using Sequoia on an M1 mini and never log out during the day. But the 'Passwords' menu bar icon (and app) wants my user password every *** time. It asks for my user password if I just want to find a password, look for a website, check my *** settings, and it does it countless times a day by locking itself.

I'll bet there's a way to tell it not to log out. Or log out after a certain time, or whatever!!!! Maybe I missed a setting?

Can anyone help?

I've never minded the repeated need for a password or my Touch ID when I visit the Passwords app, so I've not looked into bypassing or adjusting the requirement as you hope to do. I've always just assumed the behavior was set given the nature of the data the apps is holding behind its gate.

I'll just drop this here for your reading enjoyment: Passwords User Guide - Apple Support
