iPhone 15 Pro speaker stuck on broadcast during calls

This is a common issue on iOS 26 where the phone gets "stuck" in speaker mode and won't switch back to earpiece. Here are the fixes:

1. Check for a blocked or dirty earpiece sensor — The iPhone 15 Pro has a proximity sensor near the earpiece that detects when the phone is held to your ear and switches audio to earpiece mode. If this sensor is blocked (by a case, screen protector, or debris), the phone may default to speaker. Clean the top earpiece area with a soft dry brush, and try without a case to see if it makes a difference.

2. Manually switch audio during a call — During a call, tap the audio button on the call screen. You should see options: iPhone (earpiece), Speaker, Bluetooth device, etc. Select "iPhone" to force earpiece mode.

3. Disable "Attention Aware Features" — Go to Settings > Face ID & Passcode > turn off Attention Aware Features. This can sometimes interfere with proximity detection during calls.
