Stuck at 1% with healthy battery.

I have a MacBook Air M2, 2022. Using a MagSafe charger with a 30W Charger that came with it. It will only turn on if plugged in, it will not charge. I have tried SMC reset, battery health reads as normal. Claims it is Charging at 1% and will not rise. If I unplug it turns off. Hardware diagnostic from boot up cannot test if battery is below 6%. I think my hardware is fine. How do I fix?

Try to charge using USB-C with the other 20W charger you have. If the MacBook charges using the 20W charger using USB-C, try the 20W charger with the MagSafe cable. This can help you rule out where the fault it. Note that you do not need to use the MagSafe charger or cable to charge the MacBook. I charge my M2 Air strictly via USB-C.

You could take the MacBook and whatever chargers and cables you have used to an Apple Store (Genius Bar Reservation) for them to diagnose on the spot and tell you what can be done to remedy the situation.
