"Your Purchase Could Not Be Completed" when trying to use App Store balance.

Created a new Apple ID account, managed to get balance into account. Now when trying to make an in-app purchase using this balance results in a "Your Purchase Could Not Be Completed", and "For assistance, contact iTunes Support at www.apple.com/support/itunes/ww/."

It's also frustrating, because trying to contact a support and get a chat doesn't seem possible. I tried for around an hour and all I received were articles and false hope of getting a chat. Getting a call won't work for me. I need this payment to be processed ASAP (preferrably right now, it can't exactly wait).

Thank you for reaching out. 🤗

The ability to complete an app purchase on the App Store requires a functioning payment method.

A payment method is often required to verify your identity, prevent fraud and ensure a streamlined process if you decide to make in-app purchases or purchase paid apps later.

It also helps companies manage age restrictions and regional content availability.

Check your payment method in Settings ➢ [your name] ➢ Payment & Shipping, ensure it’s valid and update if needed. Also, sign out and back into your Apple Account, then try again.

If it still fails, contact Apple Support directly.

Good Luck! 👋🏼😉
