Hi, I have an Apple FineWoven iPhone case purchased in China. It is still within the one-year warranty. The case has started to delaminate and bubble along the edges. I am currently in Melbourne, Australia. Could you please advise whether I can receive warranty service or a replacement here, and whether I need to visit an Apple Store or can send it by mail?
As with many warranty's for items purchased in China, you may have difficulty making a claim outside of the country of purchase.
You may experience difficulty with obtaining a warranty replacement in Australia - as Apple's processes will require that a "service replacement" to be ordered. Additionally, you will need your original purchase invoice. As such, you would be best advised to wait until you return to China - and make a warranty claim there.
Be aware that AppleCare+ warranties (where applicable) are only honoured within the country of purchase.
