Why does Apple's "Next Day Delivery" take a week or more?
I placed an order on July 7 and paid the extra fee for next day delivery. Now three days later, the order is still processing, and estimate delivery is July 13-15. That's six to eight days, not "next day". I've placed order with Apple in years passed, and never encountered delays like this. I called Customer Support, but they said the order already had expedited delivery, and there was nothing they could do to further expedite it. What gives?
