why does Calendar with green items keep showing up on my iPhone 12 for the last week or so along with My Calendar with blue items?? I am not the one who is checking the green-items Calendar app in settings.

Are these calendar entries events you've entered or are you saying events are appearing in your calendar which you didn't enter and they are green?

It’s also possible they are the result of Siri suggestions (from mail, texts, etc.).
The green color isn’t in and of itself necessarily relevant.
Sorry, I guess I wasn’t clear. The entries are my entries but they were in blue, as on My Calendar. They were switched to green, as on Calendar. Did Siri do that or something else?
I did just enable Siri on my iPhone, but I wasn’t expecting Siri to change calendar entries.

Not certain I follow. Do have a calendar in your settings set to green? Are you using both the iCloud and another calendar such Gmail? If so, which is set as the default?
