Pages: How to delete saved color From Pages Color Picker

Hello,

I'm running Pages 14.4 on Sequoia 15.7. I have added some colors to the "saved colors" palette below the color wheel in the color picker. How do I remove these colors?

I have tried clicking on them and hitting delete, but they are not selected by clicking (not outlined), and nothing happens. I have tried dragging the color to the recycling bin on the Dock, but that does not work. There does not seem to be a "+/-" button set on the color picker.

Any thoughts?

In Pages v15.3 on macOS Tahoe 26.5.2, I can remove a saved color from the stored colors receptacle on the Color picker by selecting the color, then dragging and dropping it onto the open Trash. Dragging out over the open Desktop and releasing does not remove it. There are no keyboard shortcuts to simplify this process either.

Update. In Pages v15.4 and macOS 27.0.1, one can click on the specific color, then drag and drop onto the Trash icon in the Dock. The color will remain selected in the color picker until you choose another, but its stored color is now gone.

Doing just what you said--dragging the swatch all the way to the trash--worked for me. All I'd been doing was dragging it off the picker, and each time, it went right back. Thank you!
