iPad keyboard erase function location

Hi Jasper!

If you are looking for the standard key to backspace and delete text, it is located on the far right side of the keyboard (the button with the ⌫ icon)

If you are looking for a different kind of “erase” feature, could you please clarify what you are exactly trying to clear?

If you want Forward Delete, i think you have to use a connected hardware keyboard. Do you have one?

if yes, try control d or globe delete.

The only erase key for the most part is the one I’ve indicated below. There isn’t one that deletes toward the right.

The OP is looking for a forward delete key which doesn’t exist on Apple products, for the most part.
