How to recover files from an empty iCloud folder after renaming?
I had a folder in my iCloud drive. While a file from that iCloud folder was still open in Preview, I renamed the folder, not thinking much of it. Suddenly, the folder gets sent to Trash, and Preview asks me if I want to save the document somewhere else. I decline, and open Trash to simply restore the folder to my iCloud drive, which should be no problem. I check it first in Trash and make sure all of the contents are still there – they are. But after dragging it out of Trash, all I had left is an empty folder. Everything that I had in the folder is now apparently gone, and I can't think of anything else to try to recover my lost files. Is there anything I can do?
