Cannot open AirTag to replace battery

Opening an AirTag can be tricky - but with the right technique, is relatively straightforward...

Ensure your hands are clean - and free of any moisturisers. Hold the AirTag firmly between the palms of your hands, then rotate your palms anti-clockwise in relation to each-other - to twist and unlatch the battery cover.

If necessary, to improve friction, wear talc-free surgical rubber gloves.

Try a pair of rubber gloves or a balloon or blu-tac to get some friction. There are lots of YouTube vids to help.
