I'm looking at buying a case for my iPod Video. I believe it is a 5.5 and it's the 30GB version. The case is listed as for the iPod classic 80GB/120GB/160GB. But will it fit mine? It says it will fit those but it says it won't fit the 5th generation 60GB version. It does not say if it will or will not fit the 30GB model. Does anyone know?
An iPod Classic case (specifically for thin 80GB/120GB/160GB models) will mostly fit an iPod Video 5.5 Gen 30GB, but it may be a tiny bit loose in thickness or have slightly misaligned hold switches and headphone jacks because the 5th Gen 30GB is fractionally thicker and has a slightly different shape than thin Classics.
