Can Apple stop a fraudulent Apple Cash transaction?

Yesterday, July 11, 2026, I had what I thought was my bank notifying me that my card was being used in a fraudulent manner in another state. It turned out to be a scammer who was able to get money from me through my apple cash. I have called my bank to let them know but does anyone know if there's a way for apple to stop the transaction going through to the scammers? I've tried looking through Apple's page but can't get any help what so ever.

Thank you for any help you can give me.

No. Apple is not a bank. Apple Cash is the equivalent of giving someone cash. There is little recourse if you willingly gave someone money. You can contact Green Dot bank, Contact Green Dot Bank by calling (877) 233-8552, by mail for disputes at P.O. Box 9, West Chester, Ohio, or by mail for general customer service at P.O. Box 1070, West Chester, Ohio 45071, or visit www.greendot.com.
