Thumb wheel to edit: Feature removed?!?

FCP for iPad had a feature to make the thumb wheel adjust the selection rather than move the playhead, now this feature is gone. Where did it go?!? Apple, you can't remove this feature, this is one of the most-loved features of this program, what are you doing???

UPDATE: The toggle was hidden apparently because I had the volume adjuster enabled. Pretty weird that the thumb wheel toggle needs to be hidden when the volume adjustment slider is on. They're not anywhere near each other, they don't overlap in either screen space or functionality. Makes zero sense.
