Apple will not buy it back under any circumstances. Full Stop.

Apple can in some cases offer a Trade-In for certain models in exchange for a gift card or a deduction on the price of another device you buy from them at the time of purchase. They will not ever give you cash money for it except as a refund.

As it is a current model, Apple will not even take in for Trade in at this time. Apple only takes trade-ins for discontinued items.

If it's been less than 14 days since you bought it, Apple can give a full refund. That is it.

If it's been more than 14 days since you bought it, then your best bet is to simply put it up for sale on Ebay or the like. You will be able to get more for it than apple would ever offer if they did take in for trade-in.

Make sure you follow the steps in the support document linked below to get ready to be sold and transferred to a new owner.

We here cannot tell you what Apple might offer you for your Mac, though if it is a currently selling model then it does not qualify as a trade-in machine. And Apple won't "buy it back" from you.

For more info, please see: Apple Trade In - Apple

Should you decide to otherwise rid yourself of this Mac, please follow the guidance given here so that its new owner can setup and use it for their own:
