I cannot log into game center on iPhone11pm ios 26.5.2. I’ve tried logging out of icloud, restarting phone, resetting network, restored and updated, but nothing works. Yet on my old iPad 5th gen I can log in and out with no issues.

I am on latest iOS, I’ve tried those steps: uninstall - reinstall.
log out - log in
turn off - turn on
I do sync with iCloud.
But that’s not the issue. The issue is I can’t log into game center via the Apple Games app nor via the Settings/game center. Which then disables my capability of cross device progress.
Game Center hasn't existed for some time. Apple instead gave you the Games App, which looks like this:
