changing country temporarily without losing apple care and apple tv
I need an app from outside the US to update but it will only allow the change if I cancel my apple care etc. what else can i do?

Unfortunately nothing.
If the App is only available on a different country's store and you need to change your account's country to update it, you will need to cancel any and all subscriptions and wait for them to completely expire before you can make the country change. There is no way around that.
