Mac Pro: Network missing in Finder after Tahoe 26.5.2 update

Upgraded to Tahoe 26.5.2 on my 2019 Mac Pro desktop. I can no longer see "Network" in the sidebar. When I search and find the Network app and open it, I can't see any of the computers on my network. On my laptop, which also has Tahoe 26.5.2, I can see "Network" in the sidebar and I can see all my other Macs on the network. I've check the sidebar settings in Finder as well as network setting in system settings and they are the same as my laptop. Screenshots below.

Also,

1. Force Relaunch Finder

If the checkmarks are already enabled, a simple force relaunch can force Finder to rebuild its network view.

Click the Apple logo in the top-left corner of the screen and select Force Quit.

Select Finder from the list and click Relaunch.

3. Check "Local Network" Permissions

Major macOS updates often reset privacy permissions, which can break local network visibility.

Open System Settings > Privacy & Security > Local Network.

Ensure that Finder (along with any other file-sharing or NAS utility applications you use) has local network access toggled to the On position.

4. Connect to Server Manually

If automatic discovery is still failing, you can directly map your network drive or computer.

Open an empty Finder window and press Command + K (or go to Go > Connect to Server in the top menu).

Type in the specific network address or IP (e.g., smb://MacName.local or smb://192.168.1.X) and click Connect

Hi,

Try to start up in Safe mode, then normal boot which could solve your issue, also run Apple Diagnostics if it reports network related hardware error.
