Movie missing from Apple Movies library and purchase history

I went to watch a movie in my Apple Movies library (the last unicorn), but found that it was no longer there! Not only that, but it is not in my purchase history?

I am pretty confused, because I absolutely purchased this movie through Apple Movies, and now it's gone and there's no record of my purchase. What?

Re: Movie missing from Apple Movies library and purchase history

Apple Support's online article: About purchasing movies, TV shows, music, books, and ringtones from Apple - Apple Support Eg: says: "Any digital media you buy from Apple can be permanently downloaded on to an iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Windows PC".

and

"Content you purchase from Apple will generally remain available for you to redownload or otherwise access from Apple. Although it is unlikely, content may be removed from Apple Media Services and become unavailable for further download or access (for instance, because Apple loses its right from the content provider to make it available). To ensure your ability to continue enjoying your films, TV shows, music, books and ringtones, download all purchased content to a compatible device in your possession".

Apple doesn't provide a back-up service for products we purchase.

You may have saved a back-up copy of the movie to a computer or other device.

A movie would need to be available in your purchase history, for you to be able to re-download that movie.

If there’s an issue when you redownload apps, movies, or other content from Apple - Apple Support Eg: says:

"If you can’t see the item you want to redownload
