Possible Boot Loop? Unable to tell

I have a 7th gen Ipad. Last Friday (6 days ago as of writing this post), my ipad suddenly died at 40% battery and then proceeded to repeatedly flash the apple logo upon attempting to charge it. I left it charging for hours, almost days. I even bought a new charger for the ipad, switched outlets due to my current location having loose outlets, but every time I plug my ipad in to charge, the flashing happens. It does not respond to a restart of any kind. It only stops flashing when I enter DFU mode, but I cannot update it from my computer. I would like to know if this can be fixed. Thank you.
